Alexis Schrimpf, a Cincinnati native, has been drawing and creating her entire life. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, she built a 35+ year career in the design industry, retiring as P&G’s Global VP of Design for Beauty Care. Today, she is dedicated to expressing her own artistic vision.

Her first pointillism piece, completed in high school, sparked a lifelong passion for the technique. While she often spends days building images dot by dot in ink or paint, she also enjoys the freedom of broad strokes with colored pencils or acrylics.

Cy, a lifelong Cincinnatian of 93 years, has been drawing since childhood. Though he spent more than 50 years as a dentist, his office walls were filled with pen-and-ink sketches from his travels. Now retired, he remains a regular at the Cincinnati Art Club’s Monday Life Drawing class and continues to hone his craft with landscapes in pen, ink, and watercolor washes.
